Addicted to Yahoo!
Yes, I'm addicted to Yahoo! Well, that at least what Vince says. I check my China Adoption Yahoo groups every day. I've even made an organizer so I can write down all the info I've gotten--places to visit while in Guangzhou, DVD's and books on China or adoption, travel tips, packing lists, signing with your baby, potty training advice...
Today I realized that we have about one and a half months before we get our referral. A referral is when we finally get a photo of our daughter(!?!) and all the stats, like birthdate, medical evaluation, size, and even comments about her personality!
After the referral, we wait for our travel approval (TA) The wait to travel can be from 5-8 weeks. We have to get our appointment date for the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China to finalize the adoption. Ruby will also be in a swearing in ceremony to become a US Citizen!
So, today I went to Old Navy and bought some of the first clothes for Ruby. I got some cute patriotic clothes for her to wear when she becomes a US citizen!
